Quick Verdict
Psychic Source is best for people who weigh track record and accountability above everything else — it has been running since 1989, its advisors are screened before they are listed, and new clients get 10 minutes for $10 plus 3 extra free minutes. It is not for anyone who wants the largest possible directory of advisors to browse, or the lowest per-minute rate over the long run.
What it does well
- • Operating since 1989
- • Screened, curated advisors
- • Phone, chat & video
Where it falls short
- • Smaller roster than marketplaces
- • Higher regular rates
- • Dated site & app
Bottom line
The longest-running platform in the category, backed by a satisfaction guarantee — a steady first choice if longevity matters more to you than selection size.

How Psychic Source Works
Psychic Source is a live psychic platform, not an AI tool or an app-only service. It runs a curated model rather than an open marketplace: advisors apply, are screened, and are then listed if they pass. You browse that roster, choose a reader, and pay by the minute. The flow is simple:
1. Create an account
Sign up to claim the new-client offer.
2. Pick a reader
Browse by specialty (including tarot), rate, and client reviews.
3. Start your session
Connect by phone, chat, or video, and pay by the minute.

Pricing & Value
Psychic Source bills per minute, and each advisor sets their own rate within the platform's guidelines — so the per-minute price varies by reader. New clients get an introductory offer of 10 minutes for $10, plus an additional 3 free minutes. Regular rates apply once the introductory minutes are used and are typically higher, with senior advisors costing the most. Rates and promotions change, so confirm current pricing on the official site before booking.
How billing works
- Pay per minute — you only pay for time used
- Each advisor sets their own rate within platform guidelines
- Phone, chat, and video readings all available
New-client offer
New clients get a 10 minute reading for $10, plus an additional 3 free minutes — enough to get a feel for a reader before committing to a longer session. Check the official site for the current terms, as promotions change.
Tip: rates vary a lot by advisor and by format, and senior readers with longer track records charge the most. Filter by rate and client reviews to match your budget, and remember the introductory rate does not apply once those minutes are used.
Psychic Source vs PsychicOz vs Keen vs Kasamba
Psychic Source is not the only psychic platform worth considering. Here is how it stacks up against PsychicOz — a separate platform with a different model — and against Keen and Kasamba, on the criteria that matter most when you are choosing a reader.
| Criteria | Psychic Source (this review) | PsychicOz | Keen | Kasamba |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Operating since | 1989 | Recent platform | Established | Established |
| New-client offer | 10 min for $10 + 3 free min | First 3 minutes free | Offers vary | 3 free min + 50% off first session |
| Intro rates | $1/min intro (regular rates higher) | From $0.99/min | Varies | Varies |
| Reading formats | Phone, chat, video | Phone, chat, video, email | Phone, chat, messaging | Chat, phone, email |
| Advisor model | Curated & screened | Screened psychics | Open marketplace | Open marketplace |
| Guarantee | Satisfaction guarantee | Satisfaction Guarantee | Varies | Satisfaction credit |
Pick Psychic Source if track record, screened advisors, and a satisfaction guarantee matter most to you — and if you want video as a reading option.
Pick PsychicOz if you want the lowest-risk first step — just 3 free minutes with no intro package to buy — or if email readings appeal. Pick Keen for the largest advisor directory to browse, and pick Kasamba if a bigger first-session discount matters most.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Psychic Source legit?
Yes. Psychic Source has been operating since 1989, making it the longest-running major psychic platform. Advisors go through a multi-step screening process that includes background checks and a live test reading, and readings that do not meet expectations are covered by a satisfaction guarantee. As with any psychic service, treat readings as guidance for reflection and entertainment, not as guaranteed predictions.
How much does Psychic Source cost?
Readings are billed per minute, and each advisor sets their own rate within platform guidelines, so prices vary by reader. New clients get 10 minutes for $10 plus an additional 3 free minutes. Regular rates apply after the introductory minutes and are usually higher. Confirm current pricing on the official site before booking.
What is the new-client offer?
Psychic Source advertises an introductory offer of a 10 minute reading for $10, plus an additional 3 free minutes for new clients. Check the official site for the current terms, as promotions can change.
Can I get a tarot reading on Psychic Source?
Yes — tarot is one of the reading types available. Psychic Source is a general psychic platform rather than a tarot-only service, so filter the advisor list for tarot specialists if that is what you want before you choose.
What ways can I connect with an advisor?
Psychic Source supports phone, chat, and video readings. Video sessions are worth noting, since not every platform offers them. You choose the format before your session starts.
Is Psychic Source a scam?
No. It has 35+ years of continuous operation, a publicly documented advisor screening process, and a satisfaction guarantee on readings that do not meet expectations. No psychic service can guarantee outcomes — treat readings as guidance for reflection and entertainment.
Is Psychic Source for entertainment only?
Yes. Readings are provided for entertainment and self-reflection and are not a substitute for professional, medical, financial, or legal advice.
How is Psychic Source different from PsychicOz?
They are two separate platforms. Psychic Source has been operating since 1989 and leans on its track record, curated advisor roster, and satisfaction guarantee; it offers phone, chat, and video, with a new-client offer of 10 minutes for $10 plus 3 free minutes. PsychicOz is positioned around low introductory rates from $0.99/min with the first 3 minutes free, and adds email readings. Which one suits you depends on whether you prioritise track record or the lowest entry price.
